A: This is weather-dependent. Most of our cakes are made with butter, which means if they go in the fridge, the butter hardens the cake and essentially can taste dry. If the weather is cold, the cake should stay out at room temperature.
If the weather is hot, as long as your house/space is cool, the cake should stay out, but if very warm, then pop the cake into the fridge and take it out about an hour before service. You will have to judge and decode accordingly.
A: Absolutely. Let it come to room temperature before serving.
A: For wedding cakes, you may pay a 50% deposit to secure your order and the remainder is required 2 weeks before the wedding day. All other orders must be paid in full before the order is honoured.
A: On the floor of your front seat, out of direct sunlight, with the AC high enough to keep the car cool, hence the cake stays cool.
A: If it left our store in good condition, and you had no complaints on collection/delivery, then we cannot help you once it has left our store.
A: No, but on the rare occasion that our product did not maintain our standard of quality, please bring it back to us so we can assess the issue and if need be, replace it at a time convenient for us both.
A: Yes, within Cape Town, up to Paarl, and Hout Bay, at an additional fee, calculated at checkout
A: This depends on the design, flavour and size of your cake, cupcakes or treats. Delivery is at an additional charge
A: Most of our cakes can be made as a gluten-free option, at a slightly higher price. We can make nut-free options for you, but our kitchen is not nut-free, and cross-contamination can occur. Order at your own discretion.
